Christian Cerda

BEDFORD, Mass.-Christian Cerda has been named senior vice president and general manager of the iRobot home robots business unit.

In his new role, Cerda is in charge of the unit, with a particular emphasis on building on iRobot’s domestic and international expansion and product development. He reports to Jeff Beck, the company’s chief operating officer, who previously held this position.

Cerda comes to iRobot after a 16-year stint with Whirlpool, where he held a number of posts in sales, marketing, brand communications, product development and operations. His most recent position with the appliance giant was general manager of what an iRobot statement described as “one of the company’s most important sales channels.”
