NEW YORK–Honoring design excellence, the Housewares Design Awards ceremony was held here yesterday with a luncheon.
For the first time, Best of the Best prizes were given, in addition to the traditional Best in Category recognition.
Lodge Manufacturing’s 12-inch Seasoned Cast Iron Skillet won the Gold award. Breville’s Die-Cast Hemisphere Blender won the Silver Best of the Best award. The Rizo Micom Rice Cooker from Zojirushi took the Best of the Best bronze award.
Thirteen Best in Category prizes were also awarded.
