LIBERTYVILLE, Ill.-Chef Robert Macey has joined Hearthware as its executive chef.
Macey’s appointment makes him responsible for developing and testing recipes for Hearthware’s NuWave Precision Induction Cooktop 2 and NuWave Pro Infrared Oven. He will also appear in online instructional videos in which he will demonstrate recipes using the two products, and will engage NuWave followers on social-media channels by answering questions, providing cooking tips and through other activities.
Macey’s career includes more than 25 years as a chef, consultant, restaurateur and culinary instructor. He has worked as chef at Charlie Trotter’s Restaurant, Le Titi De Paris and 1776 Restaurant.
He also ran his own restaurant, Harvest Moon Cafe, and served as the corporate chef in culinary service/sales for Cuisine Solutions. Recently, he also was culinary consultant and catering chef at Brazen Enterprises.
