Hearst, Food Network to Launch Magazine

NEW YORK–The Food Network and Hearst Magazines have partnered up to test their Food Network Magazine this fall. Scheduled to hit newsstands on Oct. 14, with a second issue planned for January, the magazine will have an initial distribution of 300,000 copies.
The publication will focus on recipes and tips, as well as such Food Network stars as Ina Garten, Paula Deen, Alton Brown and Tyler Florence.
Maile Carpenter, formerly executive editor of Every Day with Rachael Ray, is the new publication’s editor in chief.
