WATERBURY, Vt.-The Keurig single-cup brewing system has been designated Brand of the Year in the single-serve coffeemaker category in the 2014 Harris Poll EquiTrend Equity Study.
This was the third straight year in which Keurig received the highest ranking in the coffeemaker category. The rankings are based on consumers’ perceptions of familiarity, quality and purchase consideration, according to a statement from Keurig Green Mountain, parent of the brand.
“Ten years ago, there were no Keurig brewers in homes,” said John Whoriskey, president of Keurig’s U.S. sales and marketing. “Just a decade later, we’ve begun to revolutionize the way consumers choose, brew and enjoy hot beverages at home.”
