RICHMOND, Va.–Hamilton Beach has signed a licensing agreement with Galanz whereby the latter will produce a line of microwaves branded Hamilton Beach and Proctor-Silex.
This is the second big license for Galanz recently. Last week, the company announced its license with Jarden for a line of microwaves under the Sunbeam, Oster and Rival brands. According to a joint statement from Galanz and Hamilton Beach, Galanz will debut the Hamilton Beach and Proctor-Silex microwaves at the upcoming International Home & Housewares Show in Chicago (the Jarden-licensed products will also be presented at the show).
Hamilton Beach was assisted in negotiating this license by Brand Sense Partners, a business-development consulting firm.
