COMMERCE, Calif.–Gibson has signed a license agreement with Duck Dynasty, the popular reality television show, and will preview the line at the New York tabletop Show next week.
Duck Dynasty follows the Robertson family, successful and notably bearded entrepreneurs who made their fortune selling duck calls. The show has attracted more than 11 million viewers per episode on A&E Networks and has quickly become popular in apparel, back-to-school, camping and other categories. Gibson will focus on outdoor programs and will include dinnerware; coffee, tea and hydration products; cookware; coordinates; and gadgets. The dinnerware and mug programs are in enamel, melamine, ceramic and steel. A barbecue tools set, cast iron skillets, stock pots and chicken roasters are also joining the line.
“We’re thrilled to be part of the Duck Dynasty empire,” said Grace Saari, Gibson’s director of marketing. “This collection captures their warmth and humor, as well as the design aesthetic we associate with the Robertsons’ core business. It’s about that blend of fun, charm, lifestyle and practicality.”
