VERNON HILLS, Ill.–Focus Products Group has reorganized into four divisions—Focus Bath Group, Focus Kitchen Group, Focus Electrics Group and Focus Foodservice—to deliver a stronger and unified brand experience to both retailers and consumers, said Keith Jaffee, chief executive officer, in a statement.
As a result, Clifford Hall has been named president and chief executive officer, of the Focus Bath Group, while Mike Otterman was appointed president of both the Focus Kitchen Group and Focus Electrics Group, which will operate as separate divisions. Otterman joins the company from a senior management division at Newell Rubbermaid’s Calphalon division, and was previously at Black & Decker/Applica.
Already a board member of Focus, Hall was instrumental in the company’s new restructuring, the statement said, and has previously held management positions at Timex, American Standard and Black & Decker.
“Our new strategic direction is more consumer- and market-focused to produce powerful brands, enhanced product development, and superior market insight,” said Jaffee. “We are extremely pleased to welcome the addition of such enormously experienced and talented divisional leaders.”
