WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.–Design-focused products across the gourmet housewares spectrum—from innovative silicone utensils to contemporary metal tea service pieces—will be showcased at the second annual edition of the Gourmet Housewares Show at the New York International Gift Fair this summer.
“With great demand for exhibit space from design-driven gourmet housewares suppliers and early commitments from leading international brands, the August 2012 edition is nearly sold out,” said Marc Delman, national sales manager of the Gourmet Housewares Show. “The Gourmet Housewares Show’s positioning—as a ‘show-within-as-show’ at NYIGF, gives exhibitors access to a core group of leading housewares retailers, as well as thousands of specialty store seeking add-on sales with upscale products for cooking, dining and kitchen preparation.”
The 2012 edition of the Gourmet Housewares Show at NYIGF has been expanded to feature 175 suppliers of high-end resources in cookware, bakeware, kitchen gadgets, kitchen textiles, bar and wine accessories, small electrics, specialty food, cookbooks, storage/containers and picnic/barbecue accessories. More than half of the suppliers who participated in the inaugural Gourmet Housewares Show at NYIGF in 2011 will return this August, GLM said. Several charter exhibitors also are returning to the Show with larger exhibit spaces, along with many new participants.
The show takes place Aug. 19-22 at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
