CARLSBAD, Calif.–Known for its Vinturi brand of wine aerators, Exica Inc. has changed its corporate name to Vinturi, to reflect the brand’s success.
“When we started this business, Vinturi was just an idea—now it’s a growing brand franchise with new products adding a multiplier effect,” said Rio Sabadicci, founder and chief executive officer. “So our corporate name should be the brand name that’s now widely associated with better tasting wine.”
Debuting in 2007, the Vinturi Red Wine Aerator was named by Entrepreneur magazine as one of the Revolutionary Inventions of the Year, along with the iPhone and Kindle. This year, the Vinturi White Wine Aerator was introduced, along with the Vinturi Tower, which holds the aerator during the wine pouring process.
