KINGSPORT, Tenn.–The Kor One hydration vessel, made with an Eastman Chemical Company copolyester, snagged an award at the 2009 International Plastics Design Competition. Winning the Sustainable Consumer Product Award, the Kor water bottle is made with Eastman Tritan and is manufactured without BPA. The awards are sponsored by the Alliance of Plastics Processors. Another product made with an Eastman Chemical copoylester, the iSecure Syringe from Hospira, also won two awards.
