NEW YORK–Dyson, known for its innovations in vacuum cleaners, has debuted the Dyson Air Multiplier.
The new product, a bladeless fan, is making its first appearance at The Conran Shop here. The fan uses a technology that multiplies air 15 times and emits 118 gallons of uninterrupted air every second, according to Dyson. It’s available in two 10-inch models, colored in blue and iron and silver and iron, for a retail price of $299.99.
The Dyson Air Multiplier is powered by an energy-efficient motor that can be adjusted with a dimmer switch. Its bladeless construction means that a grill is not required and makes for easier cleaning.
