TAMPA, Fla.-Diego Valera and Vanessa Valera Nolte, co-founders of Distrivalto USA, have been listed among the finalists for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in Florida.
Distrivalto is the parent company of small-electrics producer Holstein Housewares. Valera and Nolte have been nominated in the distribution and manufacturing category, family business category, for South Florida.
In an Ernst & Young statement, Greg Rosica, program planner for the award, said the award recognizes high-growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and their communities. Speaking of all of the finalists in Florida, Rosica added that collectively, they had increased their employment by 18 percent and their revenues by nearly 36 percent between 2010 and 2012.
