MADISON, Wis.-The George Foreman Grills brand has formed an alliance with Gina Neely, a chef from the Food Network, to introduce the George Foreman Grills Weight Loss Challenge.
Neely, co-host with her husband Patrick of “Down Home with the Neelys,” will serve as spokeswoman for the challenge, a weight-loss approach developed for the George Foreman brand by Sarah Berndt, a registered dietitian and personal trainer. The program provides balanced meals and snacks developed specifically for the George Foreman Grill, and includes strength and cardio workouts. It uses a calorie calculator, grocery-shopping cheat sheet, food tracker and restaurant guide.
Neely herself took the challenge recently, losing 20 pounds and 12 inches in 12 weeks. She will share her recipes for meals of 500 calories or less, which were created specifically for the George Foreman Grill.
Participants can sign up for the challenge until March 3 at georgeforemancooking.com/challenge.aspx, for the next 12-week challenge beginning on March 4.
