CEO Case to Leave Electrolux

BLOOMINGTON, Ill.–John Case, president and chief executive officer of Electrolux Home Care Products, will leave his post in September.
An Electrolux statement said Case plans to become a teacher at CIMBA University in Asolo, Italy, in the university’s master of business administration program. Case has been on the university’s board of advisers since 2000, and he said teaching at the college level has been a longtime dream for him.
Electrolux has begun an internal and external search for a new president and CEO. Morten Falkenberg, executive vice president of floor care and small appliances for Electrolux Home Care Products’ parent company, Electrolux AB, will work with the home-care products team, which consists of Cennert Steffen, executive vice president of operations; Jan Wolansky, senior vice president and chief financial officer; Greg Cook, vice president of product development; Jan Dahlman, vice president of human resources; Jennifer Hughey, vice president of supply chain; Greg Miller, vice president of sales; Rob Newcombe, vice president of marketing; and Russ Minick, president of Beam Industries, one of its vacuum units.
