MERRIMACK, N.H.–Brookstone has launched a Wholesale and Licensing Division to seek out licensing partners for expanding the availability of its product line.
Ron Boire, Brookstone’s president and chief executive officer, said the new division will develop relationships with retailers and manufacturers throughout the world, with the goal of extending the reach of the Brookstone brand. Setting the executive leadership of the new division, the company has promoted Rudy Woodard, vice president and general merchandise manager, to executive vice president of product development in wholesale and licensing. Also, Douglas Colley has joined Brookstone as operational vice president and general merchandise manager of product development in wholesale and licensing.
Woodard has been with Brookstone since 1993, serving in buying and merchandising capacities. Before joining the retailer, Colley had been an executive in the licensing segment of Nautica, serving as vice president of global home licensing and vice president of retail development.
