CINCINNATI-Russell Wilson, quarterback for the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks, has become the U.S. spokesman for Procter & Gamble’s Braun brand for its new branding campaign.
The campaign, titled #FaceGreatness with Braun Confidence, will include print and television advertisements, digital video, social marketing and new brand packaging. It was developed, according to a Braun statement, “to encourage men to be confident to chase their dreams and to never give up on their quest to achieve greatness.”
Among the products in the campaign will be the new Series 5 shaver. This is made with FlexMotion Tec, which, according to the Braun statement, “delivers significantly more skin contact in problem areas for efficient shaving with less skin pressure.” It is also designed with the PowerDrive, which supplies 20 percent more motor power than before, for high-speed cutting even on dense hair, the statement said.
Brian Messerschmitt, Braun’s brand manager, described Wilson as “the perfect person to lead our #FaceGreatness campaign” and credited Wilson as being “instrumental in the development of our core concept of ‘facing greatness.’”
