CLOSTER, N.J.--Richard L. Boynton has been named president of Capresso, effective Jan. 1.
At that time, Jura AG, the Swiss company that has been allied with Capresso on high-end automatic coffee centers since 2002, will assume sole ownership of all the Capresso U.S. and Jura-Capresso operations. Michael Kramm, who founded Capresso in 1994 and who has been serving as president, will become Capresso's chairman.
Boynton joined Capresso in March 2007 as general manager and senior vice president. Prior to assuming these posts, he had served for four years as president of Le Creuset North America, and in various executive positions with New Ground Resources and Sunbeam Oster Household Products [now part of Jarden Consumer Solutions].
