NEW YORK–Bodum has expanded its e-bodum collection of kitchen electrics with the Bistro Electric French Press coffeemaker.
Users of the Bistro fill the water tank with cold water, add coarsely ground coffee into the glass carafe and press the button. No filters are needed, and the brewing cycle is considerably shortened because the coffee begins brewing the moment the water begins dripping into the carafe. Once the water has completely transferred from the tank to the carafe, the user presses down on the separate plunger system.
The Bistro has a 17-ounce capacity and comes with a French-press plunger system. Like many of Bodum’s e-bodum line of electrics, it’s available in multiple colors.
