OREM, Utah-Blendtec has appointed Reed Beus as its chairman and CEO, succeeding Tom Dickson, who founded the company and who is stepping down.
In his new role, which he assumed on Feb. 1, according to a Blendtec statement, Beus oversees strategic product development and sustaining the company’s corporate culture. He is also placing a significant emphasis on enhancing the overall customer experience through execution, discipline in the company’s core competencies and improved two-way communication.
Dickson remains on Blendtec’s board of directors. The statement said he is focusing on “pioneering new products that make lives better.”
Before joining Blendtec, Beus was chairman and CEO of Enspark, an “e-learning” company he founded in 2009, whose clients include Motorola, 3M, Adobe, Coca-Cola and TD Ameritrade.
