NORWALK, Conn.–Rene Arnold has been elevated to the position of CEO of Wüsthof Trident of America, a position previously held by Harald Wüsthof.
Arnold, who currently serves as chief financial officer and chief operating officer, will report to Wüsthof, the seventh generation of Wüsthof family owners, who will continue as the company’s chairman and managing partner in Germany.
Other executive changes have been made. Scott Severinson, previously president sales and marketing, is no longer with the company. Wüsthof has aligned its sales and marketing efforts into four dedicated groups, led by current executives. The following executives will add to their responsibilities the leadership of each market segment: Annette Garaghty, vice president of sales, key accounts and marketing; Todd Myers, vice president of sales, independent retailers; Adam Fischer, vice president of sales, Internet; and Bill Colwin, vice president of sales, foodservice.
This leadership team, together with the chairman and CEO, will be responsible for managing the corporate strategy and brand development of Wüsthof.
“We are fortunate to have an incredibly strong, deep and experienced team at Wüsthof and we are thrilled to expand the roles of these key executives, who together have more than 65 years of experience with Wüsthof,” Harald Wüsthof said. “As the company continues to grow, we are confident this structure will provide the best support for our customers and the Wüsthof brand over the long term. This transition will have no material impact on the company’s customer interaction, in fact, will make those relationships stronger in the long run by creating increased focus within each customers’ specific market segment.”
