STURTEVANT, Wis.–Andis has named Thomas George vice president of operations and has promoted Ivan Zoot to director of education and customer engagement, a new position for the company.
In addition, the personal care-products manufacturer said it is planning an expansion of its headquarters facility here. Measuring 50,000 square feet, the added space will be used for manufacturing and warehousing, and is expected to be finished by the end of this summer.
Zoot, who was director of education and training, has assumed responsibility for improving communication and education about Andis products to both sales groups and customers. George oversees all phases of the manufacturing process, including purchasing, quality assurance, scheduling, process and product implementation, productivity and maintenance. Both executives report to Gary Stanczyk, vice president of sales.
George succeeds Mark Elliott, who has left the company. Before joining Andis, George served in a variety of manufacturing positions, including 10 years with Ford Motor Co.
