All-Clad, T-fal Support Chefs Move to Schools Program

CANONSBURG, Pa.–All-Clad and T-fal, the Groupe SEB brands for cookware and small electrics, have contributed to the Partnership for a Healthier America in support of the Chefs Move to Schools initiative.

The program is part of the Let’s Move! campaign begun by First Lady Michelle Obama, whose goal is fighting childhood obesity. All-Clad contributed three pieces of All-Clad Stainless Cookware and an All-Clad Portable Induction Burner, while T-fal donated its ActiFry appliance to kits that the Partnership will award and distribute to participating schools. These kits, along with visits by chefs to schools, are intended to teach children the importance of food and nutrition, and of maintaining a healthy weight.

In addition, All-Clad is developing a “Let’s Cook” cookbook and manual, which will offer healthy lunch recipes and demonstration ideas for chefs to use in schools. A company statement said Wusthof, Anchor-Hocking, Tru Bamboo, Zyliss and Sterilite have also contributed to the manual.
