Alberto Alessi to Go on Tour

NEW YORK–Alberto Alessi is visiting the United States in a media tour that includes stops in New York, Indianapolis and the Detroit area.
Alessi, chief executive officer and director of marketing strategies and design management for the Italian design company, will speak on a number of topics.
On March 3, Alessi will speak with Pilar Viladas, design editor of T, The New York Times Style Magazine, in “A Conversation with Alberto Alessi” at The Times Center in New York. The $30 tickets can be purchased at www.ticketweb.com.
On March 6, Alessi will be part of a panel discussing European design at the Indianapolis Museum of Design, a free event that is open to the public.
Alessi will also talk about the history of Alessi from the creation of the company by his grandfather, Giovanni Alessi, to the present day on March 8 at the Cranbrook Academy of Arts in Bloomfield, Mich. A ticket to the Cranbrook Museum allows entry to the discussion.
