NEW YORK—Tre Wilcox, the 31-year-old chef who competed on Bravo’s Top Chef show last summer and is scheduled to appear on Food Network’s Iron Chef America next month, has signed on with cookware company Chantal to promote its Copper Fusion line.
“Tre is a passionate, exciting young chef who cares immensely about performance in the kitchen,” said Heida Thurlow, chief executive officer and founder, Chantal. “That makes him a great fit with Chantal’s Copper Fusion line, which is known for superior performance and versatility.”
Wilcox will compete with Kevin Rathbun and Kent Rathbun against celebrity chef Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America February 24.
