NEW YORK–Wools of New Zealand has been purchased by Wool Parnters International, a new commercial entity owned by Wool Grower Holdings, a grower-owned cooperative, and PGGWrightson, a rural service company—both based in New Zealand.
“There will be no immediate impact on staff, who will continue to work for Wools of New Zealand and part of the Wool Partner Group,” Wes Connelly, North American area manager for Wool Partners International, said in a statement. “The company will honor its existing brand license obligations and will maintain its presence at key trade shows, like Domotex and Surfaces.”
