ATLANTA–The Vera Company is entering a licensing agreement with Creative Bath Products to produce a line of coordinating bath products and outdoor entertainment sets featuring original Vera artwork.
The line will launch at the New York home textiles market this September.
Tentative plans include three to four bath ensembles and one or two tabletop outdoor programs that will include textiles and serveware packaged together in a storage kit, under the concept of “a total solution to outdoor entertaining.”
The collection is slated for all levels of retail distribution, but Creative Bath is targeting the midrange level, according to Bob Weiss, director of sales and marketing.
“Vera is a natural fit for Creative Bath because it’s colorful, fun, fresh and versatile,” Weiss said in a statement.
The Vera Company is a contemporary lifestyle brand founded by artist Vera Neumann. In 2005, fashion industry veteran Susan Seid bought all of the design assets. Last month, the company created a home division and announced plans to license its name in various home furnishings categories.
