CALHOUN, Ga.—For next month’s Atlanta International Area Rug Market and Las Vegas Market, Surya has a number of events planned, from networking to learning opportunities.

For both markets Surya is planning an Absolute 80’s party, with music from the 1980’s, along with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Starting at 4 p.m., the party will take place on Jan. 10, 2013, in Atlanta and Jan. 29, 2013, in Las Vegas.

In AmericasMart in Atlanta, Surya will debut its new 13,500 square-foot showroom at AmericasMart, located in 11-A-1 in Building 1. On Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, the company will hold a Designer Spotlight event with Malene B, its newest design collaborator. On Friday, Jan. 11 at 1 p.m., the company will host the seminar Lunch & Learn: Surya Rug Basics, which includes a gourmet lunch.

At Las Vegas Market, where it shows in B370, Surya will host a meet and greet with Beth Lacefield for its Designer Spotlight on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 2 p.m. On Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at 1 p.m., it will host the seminar, Lunch & Learn: Surya Design Solutions, where the latest trends will be discussed to create engaging retail solutions.
