Supima to Open Pop-Up Store With Apparel Home-Fashion Merchandise

NEW YORK–Supima, an organization that represents U.S. pima cotton growers, will open a pop-up store here from March 14 to April 13 featuring apparel and home-fashion products made with supima cotton.
Among the products the store will feature will be home textiles branded under the Chopak Mills, Faribault Mills and Wamsutta names, which will include sheets, blankets and slipcovers, and which will represent 30 percent of the store’s total product offerings. Supima cotton is grown only in the Western and Southwestern regions of the United States. Each apparel and home-furnishings brand is offering eight to 10 styles from its spring 2008 collection.
The pop-up store, which measures 1,500 square feet, will be located at 72 Greene St. and will be open seven days a week during its month-long run, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
