FORT MILL, S.C.–Springs Global has been recognized by Sam’s Club with an award for the sustainability focus of its licensed Serta Two Pack Bed Pillows.
The pillows feature a hypoallergenic EcoFill made from recycled water bottles. The packaging for the products also offers environmental benefits, including a biodegradable polybag that begins to break down in three months and leaves no toxic residue. The carton is made of 80 percent post-consumer recycled corrugate; according to a Springs statement, the use of recycled content in the packaging reduced annual oil consumption by 6,000 barrels.
The pillows are made with a 300 thread-count damask stripe cover, with stain-release technology that forms a protective barrier for performance and care.
