NEW YORK–Royal Heritage Home has acquired the assets of Allergy Control Products, a manufacturer of allergy-control products.

The deal adds Allergy Control Products’ line of allergy mattress protectors, HEPA air-purification systems, sinus-relief products, bed-bug treatments, respirator masks, water filters and asthma products into the Royal Heritage portfolio. The company sells these products both directly to consumers and through wholesale, according to a Royal Heritage statement.

This is the second in a number of planned acquisitions in the allergy segment for Royal Heritage. Last September, the company acquired Allergy Solutions, which also sells allergy products. The company also launched a website, dustmites.org, a database for allergy problems related to dust mites.

 Jeff Tauber, Royal Heritage’s chairman and CEO, said the company plans on other acquisitions to build up its allergy segment.
