The new site serves as a sourcing portal for buyers, purchasing professionals and manufacturers of apparel, footwear, home and commercial textiles. Customers can use the site to connect with suppliers throughout the world. MFGtextiles.com connects customers’ design and production requirements with a factory’s capability and capacity, which brings products to market “more efficiently and cost effectively,” according to a statement from MFG.com.
Mitch Free, founder and chief executive officer of MFG.com, said MFGtextiles.com has been “live quietly” for several months, and that “already over $1 billion worth of requests for quotes have been submitted.”
