NEW YORK–London Luxury has reached a licensing agreement with Cupron, a company that markets a patented technology that binds copper to textiles fibers.
The agreement makes London Luxury the exclusive manufacturer of a complete line of bed and bath textiles products using Cupron’s technology, to be marketed under the Cupron brand. According to a London Luxury statement, copper penetrates the skin to promote healthier skin and to reduce wrinkles and crow’s feet. It also kills bacteria, fungus and microbes that cause odor, the statement added. Cupron’s technology, which embeds copper deep into fabric, means that it never washes out and lasts for the lifetime of the product.
The collection will include sheets, bed pillows, pillow protectors, pillowcases, comforters and blankets of all sizes, bath and beach towels, robes, slippers and bath rugs. London Luxury is planning to launch the first line of Cupron products in the second half of 2008.
