JLA Signs License With Echo Design Group

NEW YORK–JLA Home has entered a licensing agreement with Echo Design Group on a collection of bed ensembles.
Under the terms of the agreement, JLA will manufacture and distribute bedding under the Echo brand name. The first grouping, which will formally launch in March 2009, will include eight ensembles reflecting Echo’s expertise in print, pattern, color and design. A joint statement from Echo and JLA said the new collection “will be a modern interpretation of stylish bedding designs with innovative fabrications.”
Details on price points were unavailable. The line will be geared toward department stores, specialty-store chains and small specialty stores.
The Echo home brand also includes licenses with Creative Bath for bath ensembles, Kravet for decorative fabric and trim, Brewster Wallcoverings for wallpaper, C.R. Gibson for paper products and Kensington Home Fashions for window treatments. In addition, Harry N. Abrams Inc. publishes Echo’s decorative books.
