Interior Designers Make their ‘Best’ Picks at N.Y. Gift

NEW YORK-The New York Metro Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers has selected seven exhibitors from the At Home Section of the New York International Gift Fair as “Best of the Best” for the winter show.

Middle Kingdom took the honor for Imaginative Product Presentation, and Canopy Designs was recognized for Innovative Product Design. For Social Responsibility/Ecological Sensitivity, ASID cited Cisco Brothers, and Luna Bella was awarded the prize for Lighting.

The winner for Accessories was Lostline, and for Textiles the honoree was Carson & Co. Itinerant Studio was the winner for Wall Art.

A panel of ASID members served as the judges for the “Best of the Best” competition. Jacqueline Hosford, president of the New York ASID chapter and one of the judges, said, “Among all the considerable design innovation and creativity the judges have seen at NYIGF, these companies and products are truly visionary.”
