Grayson Company, Hughes Merge to Form Executive Service Firm

NEW YORK–The retail consulting firm of the Grayson Company has joined with the executive search firm E.A. Hughes to create Grayson/Hughes, a management service for retail, home fashions, apparel and consumer products. Principals are Bob Grayson, president of the Grayson Company, and Elaine Hughes, president of E.A. Hughes.
In announcing the newly formed firm, the principals said that the merger will offer expertise in retail strategy, merchandising, marketing, store operations, investor consulting and executive search.
Both principals have had extensive careers in addition to running their own firms. Grayson’s background includes service in executive levels, including chief executive officer, of Limited Stores and Lerner New York.
Hughes had served in executive positions with Malden Mills, Blue Ridge Winkler and Springs Industries.
