WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.–The summer edition of the New York International Gift Fair will take place from Saturday, Aug. 16, to Thursday, Aug. 21, resuming its traditional Saturday-to-Thursday date pattern, according to a statement from George Little Management, owner and manager of the show.
The winter version of the show, which just concluded, took place from Friday, Feb. 1, to Wednesday, Feb. 6.
The GLM statement said more than 2,700 exhibitors will be at the summer show, which takes place at the Jacob K. Javits Center, the Metropolitan Pavilion and Passenger Ship Terminal Piers 92 and 94, all in New York City. The New York International Gift Fair runs concurrently with Ex-Tracts, the trade show for beauty and wellness products, and New York Home Textiles Market Week.
GLM has also unveiled a redesigned Web site for the New York International Gift Fair, nyigf.com. The site now offers interactive planning tools to help attendees prepare for the fair, allowing attendees to find existing and new suppliers, and providing reduced-rate travel and hotel accommodations.
