NEW YORK–The Home Fashion Products Association has appointed Katie Geraghty, account executive with Kellen Co., as its executive director.
In this position, Geraghty provides leadership and staff support to the HFPA’s board of directors and to member companies of the trade association. She also works closely with HFPA committees to strengthen organizational operations and activities. She succeeds Deborah Collins, who has left to pursue another business opportunity, according to a Kellen spokeswoman. Kellen is an association management and professional-services firm.
Geraghty joined Kellen in 2007 as associate director of the National Society for Healthcare Foodservice Management, a position that she will retain as she takes on her new responsibilities at HFPA. Prior to joining Kellen, she was certification director for the Entertainment Technician Certification Program.
