NEW YORK–Frette and Brunschwig and Fils have formed a partnership through which Frette bed linens will be featured on Brunschwig and Fils beds in the latter’s show spaces in the Decoration & Design Building here and in the Design Center of the Americas in Dania Beach, Fla.
The Brunschwig and Fils beds will display Frette couture, jacquard bed sets, luxury furs and cashmere, decorative pillows and an assortment of decorative pieces, according to a Frette statement. Frette will take custom orders in these spaces that entail personalized colors and embroideries.
The statement said Frette has made the move to provide more accessibility to its products for designers, which now constitute 30 percent of the company’s business. It gives designers the opportunity to upholster furniture, choose window treatments and decorate beds in one locale. This is the company’s first foray into design centers, and Frette plans to grow in other design centers across the nation.
