FIT, HFPA Join Forces for Fundraising Event

NEW YORK–Tickets are still available for the Home Products Development Fundraising Breakfast, which will take place from 7 to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Cipriani on 42nd Street here.
A joint effort of the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Home Fashions Products Association, the breakfast will raise funds for FIT scholarships. Honorees at the event will include Arthur Tauber, chairman of Avanti Linens, who will receive the Outstanding Achievement award; Fred and Jim Richman, president emeritus and president of Richloom Fabrics, respectively, with the Lifetime Achievement award; and Neil Cole, president and chief executive officer of Iconix Brand Group, with the Industry Leader of the Year award.
Warren Shoulberg, editor of HFN, will serve as master of ceremonies. Tickets are $250 per seat.
