NEW YORK–CHF Industries has reached an agreement with Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams to produce a line of bedding designed by the furniture company.
Branded as Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams Modern Linens, the new collection includes sheet sets, duvets, coverlets, pillow shams, decorative pillows and throws. The collection will be made of 100 percent cotton, and the initial launch encompasses six patterns combining solid colors, stripes and linen looks, and bears mix-and-match elements. Pricing for a queen duvet will range between $199 and $240 at retail. This is the first licensed program in any product category involving Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams.
The collection will be presented to the trade at the International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C., in April. According to Mitchell Gold, co-founder of the company, the initial retail launch will be at Bloomingdale’s and at Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams’ signature stores beginning in August. Gold said the collection will eventually be available at other high-end department stores and specialty stores that offer furniture.
