RICHMOND HILL, Ontario--Bed Bath & Beyond has opened its first store north-of-the-border here.
Like Bed Bath's U.S. locations, the 34,000-square-foot location in the Toronto suburb features items including bed and bath accessories, kitchen gadgets, organization items, dinnerware, window treatments, and closet and storage items.
The company has launched a Web site aimed at the Canadian market,

A spokeswoman for Bed Bath said the retailer has plans for additional Canadian stores, but was unaware of specifics. She did not have timing details about the launch of the Web site's e-commerce component.
