ATLANTA–Gift company Roman, Inc. will substantially expand its AmericasMart Atlanta showroom in time for the International Gift & Home Furnishings Market here in January.
The newly expanded Roman space, which grows to 9,525 square feet in Suite 1400 of AmericasMart Building Two, signals its continuing commitment to AmericasMart’s growing global market share, the company said in a statement.
“We are excited about the opportunity to expand Roman’s showroom by an additional 50 percent in Atlanta,” said Dan Loughman, president and CEO. “The increase in space will allow us to create small showcases for key product lines while improving the overall appearance of the thousands of items Roman offers.”
The expansion will allow Cottage Garden, the company’s music box division, to show more product, including more music boxes, more framed sentiment and more plan-o-grams. The additional space also permits the Bloomingdale, Ill.-based Roman to showcase the new product categories it will offer starting in January, including baby, garden and everyday.
“We hope these changes make the overall shopping experience for Roman’s customers more efficient and enjoyable,” said Loughman. “On top of improving the display of Roman and Cottage Garden’s existing products, the additional space allows us to broaden our merchandise mix and offer retailers deeper, richer buying opportunities in 2012 and beyond.”
