McIntosh to Head Gift at Merchandise Mart

CHICAGO-Merchandise Mart Properties has named 14-year company veteran Toni McIntosh vice president of the Chicago Gift Industry.
McIntosh, who was previously vice president of leasing, is now in charge of all of the Merchandise Mart’s permanent gift showrooms, trade-show exhibits for the Chicago gift industry and marketing efforts related to the Merchandise Mart’s gift markets. She reports to Myron Mauer, MMPI’s chief operating officer.
She succeeds, Mark Furlet, who recently became senior vice president of leasing for Building One home-category permanent showrooms at AmericasMart in Atlanta.
McIntosh joined MMPI as exhibit sales national account executive in 1997. In 1998, she became director of market suite sales, and was promoted to director of leasing for the gift industry in 2004. She was named vice president of leasing in 2007.
