NEW YORK–Permanent showroom building Forty One Madison has opened its doors during the Gift Show here this week, with several tabletop showrooms open for business and a lobby product display that reflects the diversity of products in the building.
“We have had a record number of showrooms open this market and I’m pleased to see traffic has been steady since Sunday,” said Laurie Burns, senior vice president, director of the building, in a statement.
The New York International Gift Fair has been ongoing at the Javits Center and the Passenger Ship Terminal Piers here, while Gift & Home Textiles Market Week is taking place at permanent showroom building 7 W New York. The show wraps up in all locations on Thursday, January 29.
The lobby displays at 41 Madison include Daum, which is featuring two museum reproductions from the Musee du Quai Branly; a table setting by Nikko Ceramics, which has relocated within the building to the 17th floor; and a display by Jay Import, which is featuring chargers and trays under its licensing agreement with Homer Laughlin, maker of Fiesta ware. The displays remain in place until Thursday and can be viewed at hfnmag.com’s photo gallery at http://hfn.gcnpublishing.com/photo-gallery/index.cgi?insidealbum=True&re....
