CHICAGO–The Fair Trade Federation will host pavilions at The California Gift Show and The Chicago Market: Living and Giving, which will serve as locations for exhibitors of fair-trade merchandise.
The federation is a trade association for organizations committed to fair trade and manufacturing using sustainable practices, according to a statement from MMPI, owner and manager of the two shows. The two pavilions are designed to offer buyer-attendees at the show a larger selection of products from artisans from around the world, particularly from poorer nations. Seminars on fair-trade practices will also take place during the two shows.
The California Gift Show is scheduled to take place at the L.A. Mart from July 13-15, and then at the Los Angeles Convention Center from July 16-18. The Chicago Market will take place from July 22-28 at the Chicago Merchandise Mart.
