NASHVILLE, Tenn.–DesignWorks Investments, a private investment firm focused on expanding business opportunities for personal care and gift product companies, has promoted Jessica Whitehead to vice president of specialty sales.

Whitehead will report to Joe Moore, CEO of DesignWorks Investments and president of Paddywax and Olivina Napa Valley. This is a new position at the company.

Whitehead began working for DesignWorks’ portfolio companies Paddywax and Olivina Napa Valley in 2011. As national sales manager for both brands, she was responsible for sales management, marketing and communication efforts and training tied to independent retailers. “We are excited and encouraged by the remarkable growth Paddywax has seen over the last three years, as well as the success of our recent acquisition, Olivina,” said Joe Moore, CEO of DesignWorks Investments. “Jessica has played a huge roll in the success we’ve experienced in the retail marketplace, and we are thrilled to have her lead our efforts in the specialty market.”

Prior to working with Paddywax and Olivina, she served as director of sales for SnapRetail. She also previously worked as territory manager for Two’s Company and as vice president of business development for Kris & Co.
