SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.–The handpainted glass line of Russia’s Crystal Güs is now available to the U.S. market, as the company will exhibit at Las Vegas Market for the first time.

Exhibiting in space C4-2018, in Gift + Home’s home furnishings temporaries in Building C, the company will show its handpainted, heatset glass vases, which are all made in Russia in the historic Vladimir region, where glass and crystal making is a centuries-old tradition. The company will also offer a sneak peak at an upcoming, 24 percent full lead crystal vase line.

All of its product lines do well, said Brian Matthews, president of the U.S. division, which is surprising given that “the average Russian consumer does not typically spend much on home decor. Americans, on the other hand, use their homes to display their personality and energy and to create a peaceful environment.”

Regarding its debut to the U.S. market, he added that “we felt it was the right time to introduce modern, contemporary, affordable accent pieces to help people express themselves and bring any room to life.” The company opened its U.S. office in Scottsdale last year.

And in the spirit of Las Vegas, the company will also have a slot machine at the show, where tokens will be given to attendees for the chance to win such prizes as liquor-filled chocolates, three-inch crystal goose figures and vases.
