ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.–Nate Berkus, the celebrity designer, will introduce a collection of home decor products and furniture on HSN this fall.
The designer, who has appeared on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and hosts “Oprah’s Big Give” on ABC, has created a collection that now includes textiles, linens, decorative pillows, porcelain vases, coffee tables, headboards and sofas. Later, Berkus will add decorative accessories, lamps, wovens and rugs to the line, which is expected to eventually total more than 100 products.
In an HSN statement, Berkus said the designs in the collection are inspired by his travels throughout the world over the past year, and include elements from designs in France, Greece, Italy and Turkey.
Berkus will debut the collection during the premiere of “HSN Home Design Event Presented by Elle Decor,” a five-week series of one-hour shows that is scheduled to run from Oct. 13 to Nov. 15.
Berkus teamed with Linens ’n Things in 2005 for a collection of home furnishings, but the line has been discontinued.
