WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.–Nearly 500 new and returning companies are scheduled to take part in the At Home section of the summer New York International Gift Fair.
According to Dorothy Belshaw, director of the Gift Fair and senior vice president of GLM, the show’s owner and manager, this summer’s At Home area will offer a “significant increase” in the number of bedding, furniture and wall-decor suppliers. It will also showcase current and emerging home-decor and design trends, such as the return of vibrant colors and new looks on environmentally conscious products.
The At Home section will be divided between Pier 94 of the Passenger Ship Terminal and the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, both in New York City, where the gift fair will take place. The At Home hardlines will be featured at Pier 94, while At Home featuring Home Textiles will be located at the Javits Center. GLM will hold an At Home welcome reception at Pier 94 on Saturday, Aug. 14 from 5 to 6 p.m.
At Home at Pier 94 is scheduled to run from Aug. 14 through Wednesday, Aug. 18. At Home featuring Home Textiles in the Javits Center will run from Sunday, Aug. 15 through Thursday, Aug. 19.
